Fostering the Dream

On April 21^st, members of the Carrollton First Methodist Church are working at the Almon home to prepare the home for its renovation and expansion. Volunteers are digging around the basement of the home, diverting water from the natural spring that is adjacent to the home and causing basement flooding. They are installing a French Drain and Sump Pump.

On April 28^th, CFUMC volunteers are again working at the home, finishing the French Drain and cleaning the basement.

Mike Bell Chevrolet, www.mikebellchevrolet.com, will host a major Garage Sale on April 21st to benefit the Almon Family. Throughout the the month of April for every vehicle sold Mike Bell will donate money to the Almon Family new vehicle project.

• Carrollton Kroger, www.kroger.com: Grilling on site and providing hotdogs, chips & drinks for Garage Sale workers and shoppers, and also for the CFUMC workers at the Almon home
